Wood Door Assembler
Windsor Door – has a rich 68 year history of manufacturing of overhead doors in Arkansas and is looking for the right people to join our growing team. We have two (2) openings in our wood working department.Someone from Windsor Door will call to schedule interviews with the appropriate hiring managers if your experience meets all the qualifications. You must have knowledge in Wood shaping and cutting to specified measurements for specific projects and be able to demonstrate knowledge and previous experience in a wood department, construction, framing, cabinet making, etc..
Role and Responsibilities:
Manufacture components from raw materials to be used in the assembly of wood sections.
Assemble and build sections for wood doors.
Insulate, weigh and package completed section assemblies.
Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with little or no supervision.
Quafications / RequirementsHigh school/ GED education required, AA preferred
Qualified candidates will also possess strong knowledge of manufacturing experience in production
Ability to read and comprehend production work order documentation, diagrams and or prints, all safety rules and procedures for this position.
Ability to read and comprehend a tape measure, protractor and scale to within 1/32 of an inch.
Ability to perform math calculations using whole numbers and fractions (math test will be given)
Proficient understanding of angles and degrees of angles involved in the cutting of materials.
Ability to operate following all safety policies and procedures, the following equipment
- Powered Circular/Jig/Table Saw
- Powered Compound Miter Saw
- Powered Hand Sanders
- Free Standing Equipment
· Ability to stand, stoop bend and or walk on a continual basis.
· Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a continual basis.
· Ability to comprehend all safety policy and procedures.
This is a safety sensitive position and requires the ability to pass a drug screen and a background check. Safety shoes required to start. Tools provided. Regular shift is 7AM to 3:30. Current shift is 5 AM to 5:30 PM. You must be flexible enough to work OT if needed, including occasional Saturdays.
