LP-Trim LP doors are the low maintenance door for wood doors. These doors are made with trim that resists decay from fungus and termites. It also comes pre-primed so it is ready to paint.
Construction - The wood is adhered around the perimeter of a 2inch thick door. This exposes both the steel of the door and then the wood trim. It is glued, nailed, and then stapled. This method of attaching the LP wood makes a permanent attachment to the steel. The steel for the door is made with the industry standard 25 gauge.
Insulation - The Insulation is a 2 inch thick insulation double backed with vinyl to aid in your home’s thermal efficiency or R value. The LP-Trim door has an R value 7.0 or higher.
Color stain and Sizes - Cherry wood stain, Brown wood, Walnut Wood, and Ebony wood stain 8x7 & 16x7.
Trim Design - There 100 trim design styles to choose from, Or you can draw one up yourself.
